The Greg DiAntonio Memorial thanks the Cooper-Cape Recovery Center for acknowledging its work to provide funding for those struggling with addiction and their families & recovery support in our communities. Because Greg died our Foundation was born to help many. I see his face in every person we help. The Greg DiAntonio Memorial Foundation has purchased a Narcan vending machine that contains free Narcan and local resource guides on Substance Use and Grief.   Cape Assist is the agency spearheading this innovative way to get Narcan and information to those in need.    It is located outside the Branches in Rio Grande and if the idea takes off they will place them in other locations.  So far, according to Tyler, the director of Branches, it has definitely been utilized already and people have been taking only what they need.  Kelly Benigno (Cape Assist) feels "it is an easy and sustainable way to save lives".  The Greg DiAntonio Memorial is happy to support another project to help change lives.

Congratulations to the recipients of the Partner-in-Prevention Award - the Greg DiAntonio Memorial Foundation and Capt. Joe Landis (ret.)!  We thank Assemblyman Antwan McClellan, CMC Commissioners Will Morey and Melanie Collette, and CMC Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland for helping us celebrate everyone’s accomplishments!

The Greg DiAntonio Memorial Foundation was presented with the "Partner of the Year" award at the Recovery Court Graduation ceremony.  Although I received the award on behalf of the Foundation, I wanted you to  know that you all are also the recipient of the award by supporting and contributing to the Foundation from the simple purchase of a ticket to a charitable donation.  The Greg DiAntonio Memorial Foundation would not of received the Partnership of the year award without all of you.  It is to all of you we are now presenting this award.
